Each member of our billing staff receives 90 days of training after they begin employment. Staff members go through an intensive training program designed to develop understanding of Medicare rules and regulations. At the end of their training period each clerk goes through testing and certification through the National Academy of Ambulance Coding. Each clerk working on your account is nationally certified.
Colleton Software current software offering is Medical Information Collection System (MICS). We offer this product at no cost to our billing clients. We maintain an in house technical support and programming department to insure our software meets all local, state and federal requirements for our software products.
In North Carolina, South Carolina and West Virginia, Colleton Software’s MICS product has been certified to be 100% in compliance with PREMIS regulations for compliant software.
In Georgia, Colleton Software has finished certification of our MICS product for EMS Services in the state.
